Wasted Weekends...and not the way you think! lol

WOW! Can you just say that its been absolutely CRAZY around here? I can't seem to recall if I'm coming or going half the time anymore.

I had planned on relaxing somewhat this weekend, but, my body apparently had other plans. I knew I didnt feel quite right on Thursday, but just figured I was out of sorts. Then came late Thursday night. WOW. that was horrible. I was soo sick. All night long. I had to stay home from work Friday too! which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but, I can think of a million other ways I would have preferred to spend a friday off from work! I've got friends I need to see, and havent seen in FOREVER and thanks to Ike and trying to get things cleaned up from there and meeting with contractors, adjusters, and the likes, and then getting sick, it just seems like I run out of time. I finally made time on Saturday to go pick up my Bear cat from the vet. Bless his heart. They cremated him on Sept 17 and i havent made it by to pick him up til Saturday! Such a bad mommy. Of course, that just broke my heart all over again as I picked up his little urn and placed him next to his two best buds, Fancy and Keisha. The three muskateers are together again. Sad that all that is left are little urns. I miss all of them sooo much. Balance just seems off with three cats. But, NO, I'm not getting anymore! LOL I get far too attached.

Speaking of attachments, my contractor and friend, John, came to the house yesterday and put a brand new back door and back window in. I'm soo excited, but a little sad as well. My back door had all kinds of love marks from Jake, Momma's big ole English Mastiff. He chewed the door frame and the door knob. Now, its all gone. Almost like new. Just not the same without my love marks! LOL Of course the new back door is COOL. its half glass with a mini blind in the middle of the two pieces of glass so you can open and shut the mini blinds without ever touching it! they dont get dusty and they dont get ruined! woo hoo! Now, the cutest part was, evidently when John was there working, Tommy, Momma's baby boy cat, took a liking to him. He followed him around everywhere. Rubbing up against him and talking to him and everything. Of course I think he may have been trying to distract him so that when John had the window or the door open, Tommy could sneak passed him and go outside! Nobody ever said he wasnt smart! LOL

Things have just been so crazy. I miss everyone and so need to get together soon! But, just remember, just cause i dont see you, dont mean your not on my mind! :-)
